Happy Birthday to the Advisement Database!
On August 7, 2007 the USC Advisement Database was officially launched / born. Now, two years later we have made significant strides in critical advising initiatives using this complex new system. As we have transitioned and settled into using new tools and procedures with the Advisement Database, the system itself has also "grown up" a bit -- developing from the early days of infancy to what is now perhaps its adolescence or young adulthood :)
With the 2nd birthday of the Advisement Database, we can look back over the past two years to see its progress and acknowledge how far we have come together in this short time period. As we appreciate the current state of the system, we also look ahead to its continued development and evolution as an important vehicle in meeting our advising needs and goals. We hope the growing pains are over!
